CNFDVD001 The Couple Dances of Donegal
Traditional couple and house dances from various parts of Donegal including, Highlands, Mazurkas, The Marine and the Palais Glide. There is description of the context and backgound of the dances in Irish and English the Irish speech sections are sub-titled in English. Each dance is shown slowly and at proper speed and the music is provided by some of the best Donegal traditional musicians including the Campbells, Danny Meehan, Ciaran ó Maonaigh and Aidan O Donnell.

This DVD teaches Old Time step dances and plays the music from Michael’s CD ‘A selection of irish step dances’. Michael and Céline Tubridy learned these dances from dancing master Dan Furey from Clare. They have been teaching these dances all over the world for many years. It features the dances played at normal tempo as well as slower tempo to faciliate the learning process.
